Shared Vision has experience in conducting focus groups of 8 to 12
participants. Shared Vision typically assists in preparing a discussion
outline, facilitation, and reporting. The process is more informal than
that of a town hall or workshop. Rather than aiming for a defined outcome
or action plan, the purpose is to elicit and probe perceptions in a
conversational format, with group interaction influencing opinions and
stimulating ideas among participants. Focus groups identify major themes
and messages which are useful in the initial stages of planning a project
or promotional campaign.
