Since 1991, Shared Vision has held over thirty town halls,
forums, focus groups, and other types of community conversations.
Involving elected officials, government managers, citizens,
and leading experts, these events build the CIVIC INFRASTRUCTURE
of our community by addressing its components: visioning,
education, water resources, quality growth, cultural diversity,
and economic vitality.
These forums have developed our civic capacity for dialogue
to think through issues together and decide what steps are
needed to make progress. These areas of agreement provide
the basis for constructive action to follow by implementing
partners.
Each event builds on previous events--usually going from
general policy to specific actions-- moving the community
forward. Each event is strategically timed in partnership
with educational institutions and government to LEAD TO RESULTS.
